


Koch Goma Secondary School in northern Uganda has been badly affected by a war which has lasted over 20 years. Displaced for much of that time to a “temporary” site in Gulu town 15 miles away, we are helping them to return home and develop a new school now there is peace.
easicop is a BT Global Challenge project, creating an education and social inclusion
community of practice. Linking schools from the UK, USA, India, Africa and Sri-
Beans Means Brains is our school lunch programme, currently providing lunches for
around 670 children each day at Buhumba Primary School in Kabale District, south
western Uganda. We aim to make the programme self-
School Links provide a global dimension to each school’s curriculum and provide a valuable opportunity for pupils to learn about life in another country and increase their understanding of diversity issues. Links can be anything from an informal exchange of letters to working together on joint projects and even exchange visits.
